Evanna Filming

According to HarryPotterForum.com, Evanna was filming the Quidditch scene this week, where Luna commentates the match.

'New' old interview

Although it was published on the 10th July 2007, I haven't seen this interview before. It can be found here.

She talks about a few things, including what she was planning to wear to the Deathly Hallows book release:

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1 release date

Thank you to MuggleNet for drawing this tip to our attention. ComingSoon.net revealed that Part 1 of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will be released November the 19th, 2010.

David Heyman has previously stated in an interview with the LA Times to look for a May 2011 release for part 2.

"She is very Luna-esque"

When JK Rowling was in Ireland back in February, she was asked if she thinks about the film while she writes and she replied with:

"...and people often ask me do I see Dan, Rupert and Emma ? And to be honest no, the only actor or actress who has ever, ever intruded while writing was Evanna Lynch, who is absolutely perfect as Luna. And I must admit I have heard her voice in my head when I wrote the book. [Ooohh] I know ! I love Evanna Lynch she’s fantastic. She was a perfect piece of casting, she is… she won’t mind me saying this, she is completely cool with this, she is Luna ! She is very Luna-esque, in personnality, and looks really spot on for me she… she is very beautiful but in an unusual way. So I have occasionnally heard her very lovely voice when writing the books. But other than that, no, I don’t see Alan Rickman when I write Snape."

Evanna in PotC

An inside source has informed us that Evanna is set to have a big role in the newest addition of the blockbuster film series, Pirates of the Caribbean. The source said she will play Jack Sparrow's daughter Jane. The film is currently in pre-production, and is expected to start filming late 2009.
