Style Criticism

Sadie: Her style is great! And very unique! It looks like she's not afraid to stand out and be herself, which is very Luna like.

Mary: I really like your style! it's...uh...diffrent! You show them fashion monsters it doesnt matter what your clothes are! Your Style ROCKS!!

Christine: I think Evanna's style is quite like what Luna might wear on summer holidays. It's really different. She really stands out and appears to have a lot of self confidence, which is exactly like Luna. She doesn't look like the Luna I see in my head, but I think she'll be great all the same.

Elizabeth: Evanna's style reminds me of my own younger sister's style...rather eccentric, but I must say very unique. Much like me and my siblings, it looks like she knows who she is and what looks good on her. Evanna has wonderful taste and would convince anyone to go blonde (except maybe myself ::hugs her ash-brown hair::).

Saman: I have just came across this site hoping to find more information regarding Evanna, to me she is exactly how I picture Luna. Her style I have to say is adorable, the yellow shirt she has is something I would definately buy if I saw it. I read also that she is obsessed with the Harry Potter series as am I also and I have deep respect for her for that..lol. She looks like a girl you doesn't care what others says and wears anything that she finds to her likings. Now thats an Idol.

Rachel: What do you think of Evanna's style? I love her style, honestly its alot like mine! Just kinda matching the earings to the buttons on the top or something like that!Contrasting colors, & nice sensible clothes. It Rocks and matches Luna Lovegoods Character in a superb way! Molly: I think she has a great sense of style! Not just your usual tight fitting jeans and short tops kind of girl. She dresses to her own likings. In a kind of Luna-ish way! Go Evanna! I can't wait to see her in costume! I think she'll look great in the butterbeer caps necklace and radish earrings. I love it that warner brothers casted a true die hard Harry Potter fan! Us crazy fans are the ones who really deserve to get the parts! I can't wait to see her act!!! *baboon's... bottom....* :)

Renata: i love luna! she is an excellent character! i somethimes feel like Luna. i get funny looks and then theres my brother....hes just plain outright weird. you are living my dream. Style wise you are exactly what luna is in my head! she is blonde and i thought her no where near as girly looking as you. you have done pretty well if this is your first photo shoot. you are an excellent choice as luna ( i wound have abeen a bad choice as im a brunette!) i love the look and i know you will be a great sucess!

Rachell: Evanna's style is very original! I like it a lot! They're not very dressy and they're not really casual but inbetween. They remind somewhat of Luna and I think she'll make a great Luna, really! And I also think she really deserved the part being a fan of Harry! I can't wait until July '07!

Mackenzie: I love her style, she is so unique and her dream of being like Luna kinda came true. If you saw her walking down the street you would think "Oh, she has a unusal fashion sense". Well Luna does too, and I think she's got the right idea of being different. She totally fits Luna, I can just see her wearing a Butterbeer cap necklace. I just LOVE it! Also love the hair, perfect Luna...

MaryD: It's...um...diffrent! I really like that she shows who she is and isn't one of those girls who think that their life is over if their clothes don't match. She IS Luna! I can't wait to see her wearing a necklace made of Butterbeer caps! You rock, Evanna!

Yvette: I'm from Holland so my English is not very well, but.. I can say (even in English) that I love Evanna & Luna. Her clothes on the second picture are very different but also very nice, cute and she had deffinatly a own style! The clothes on the first picture I didn't like, but the style is alright. Totally Luna!

Rynne: When I first saw pictures of Evanna, I thought, 'Oh my gosh...she looks NOTHING like how I imagined Luna would be!' But I love how she dresses...for once, a girl who isn't wearing skin-tight clothes! How refreshing! All I can say is, rock on Evanna! If anyone criticizes her for being unique and modest, I'll be one of the first people to back her up.

Evanna is so much like Luna, its too perfect; she's beautiful, but still simplistic, not so fake looking like a lot of actresses. And self-made Harry Potter shirts, totally the greatest:]

Starr: I love her style! It is so diffrent then other stuff people wear. People I've seen wear stuff that match((I used to)), stuff thats ugly((lol)) well her style is just super cool!

Wynne: Well, I had thought that the two pictures were promotional as Luna...But if they are they are perfect for Luna and Evanna! I think there great.

Nicolette: I am French, so my English isn't all too well. I just LOVE Evanna's style. I love her hair, it looks like mine! I think it is adorable how she can match the purple, maroon, and blue and still make it look gorgeous with her hair! She wasn't what I first imagined Luna to look like, but if JK Rowling thinks she's perfect for the part, why argue? She is gorgeous and I LOVE her style! You are amazing, Evanna! It's good to finally see a girl who can be comfortable in baggy clothes as opposed to skin tight ones! (like mine) She is definitely an Idol and she has the spunk to play Luna. I cannot wait to see her wearing the butterbear cap necklace and radish earrings! I LOVE YOU, EVANNA and LUNA!!

Laura: she is perfect. she is exactly what i imagined luna to be like, she doesn't care about what others think about her dress sense as long as she likes it. I think she looks fabulous and very true to her character unlike other actors in the film

Jenna: I love her style, because it stands out and it's unique, like her character is. I know nobody here in America would wear this stuff, but maybe I would! Who knows? Evanna could be a trendsetter someday. I would TOTALLY wear her clothes. Evanna rocks!! And I love her hair, too!

Samantha: That's really cool that you could pull of a look like that, with groovy purple tights. I think your style is very unique, and very pratical, yet in a stylish way. Way to go, can't wait to see you in the movie, congratualtions!

E.S. Blair: Her style is very great! It's fun and full of life, just how Luna should be. As for her Harry Potter shirt, it shows she's very artistic and it's awesome.

Liliana: Honestly, I think she could use a little help in the fashion department. Though it is very cool that she can pull off a nice look with purple tights and a good-girl sweater. She's unique, I can give her that. Perfect for the part of Luna. Nice job, Evanna!

Hollzy: i think her style is extreme and fabulous . She is sooo luna! at first i was like noooo lol cause really i was jealous cause i wanted to be luna haha but now i cant wait to see her perform because of what I've read from her comments from the other casts your practically Luna so I'm hoping that she will be fab in it!

Hannah: I like the fact that her style is based on her individuality and her style shows she is definitely unique which i what i believe in. I Wouldn't wear what she wears together, but apart from that she's got it going you go girl!!!!!!!!

Damaris: I love how her clothes don't match and how she's not afraid to be an individual. I could never dress like that. no actresses dress ,i mean she's not wearing a second skin or skimpy clothes she looks like a nice person who you would like to go up to and say wore you get that skirt. Like that I when I look at her I see Luna talking about the most absurd things that make you laugh. I think she will do well as an actress.

Nadine: id just like to say, that her purple tights are the COOLEST tights I've ever seen to be matched with her outfit! Her style is HER style, and that's what everyone should know.

Aria: She surely has her own style, putting together different things together. It's just nice to actually see a girl that doesn't wear cloths that a just WAY too small. I adore how each picture of her hair looks very different. And just like Luna, she puts together some really cool and interesting styles. Totally Luna!!!

Halie: Wow. She is definitely very unique. NO ONE else at my school would wear this, but I think I would. She wears clothes that are comfortable and not skin-tight, and I love that. The whole non-matching thing is awesome! Ignore all of those people who say that you're weird, because in case they haven't noticed, being weird is the best thing you can possibly be. <3 Oh yeah and I think you'll be the perfect Luna Lovegood :D

Clare: I think Evanna has a very open mind and she looks like a type of girl who would choose what she wears based on her personality and how she feels at the present time! This is how i dress too! I'm not really the type of person to fall for peer presure so my style is extremely diffrent from my friends. I don't really shop in chain stores either and i can tell from Evanna's unique clothing that she doesn't either! I tried out for the part of Luna and got quite far but didn't quite make it. I'm glad if i didn't that someone like you did. Someone with good taste is exactly what girls need! We need a good example to follow instead of some (not all) celebraties. Hopefuly Evanna will be a role model for all teens! Again, luv ur style!x :)

Valerie: I love Evanna's style. These pictures show that she's all about originality, and that she has excellent taste in clothes. Her clothes aren't skimpy but not conservative either, they're just right. I respect people who dress the way that they want to, because it shows that they have a very high self-confidence level. Hey, did I mention that I absolutely ADORE those purple tights? Those things ROCK!

Bubbles: I have a very individual style, and I am glad too see someone else does too! I love those blue tights! I agree with Nicole - it is good to see someone wearing things that fit them and cover them up modestly! She carries off a Luna-Like style perfectly! ( Although i'm glad she ditched the radish earings and butterbeer cork necklace!).Can't wait to see her in the film!

Haley: I LOVE Evanna's style! I think her clothes are so unique and stand out. She seems to mix together all kinds of colors so it makes her outfits bright and cool. It's important to stand out. To me, she is the perfect Luna. That is exactly how I would imagine Luna to dress like. Luna would be proud.

Hilary: It's funny, because it doesn't rub off to me that she even has a style. That she doesn't know nor care about what she is wearing. She would probably be very surprised that we are talking about THIS of all things to do with her. If I saw a girl walking down the street dressed in such a way, I think I would smile to myself. Depending on what sort of expression they had. Some STRIVE to be different when they choose clothing. Some. . . don't. Evanna falls in the "don't" category. This ONLY contributes to her persona as Luna. Honestly, what do you think Luna would wear on a day to day basis? In normal Muggle society? She wouldn't CARE! And she doesn't. I feel that the casting directors noticed this. Some people got primped and prepared and probably took 8 hours to pick out the right outfit for the audition, and didn't they know realize that Luna WOULDN'T do that! Casting directors look for everything. Style, (or lack thereof included. Evanna just showed up, probably in what she had, meaning she didn't go out and buy something just for the occasion, and it just turned out that she was naturally eccentric enough to add that something to Luna. Starting with her style. Why else would JK Rowling call her "Perfect?"
